STRONG IS A BIG WORD

When things don’t go as planned will you bend beneath the heavy load or praise God!? Seems hopeless, unfruitful? Has everyone failed you?? God to God==He never fails! He is strong enough to bear your burdens.

I Corinthians 13:4, 5,6 +7 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Many times we think God has left us. We call on Him and He seems to be nowhere around. We ask for immediate answers when His time has just begun. We grow impatient and strive for satisfaction but don’t get it because it isn’t in haste that we get answers. We need to wait on God for our answers and not be hasty. Be strong in the Lord and His Word.

Isaiah 40:31 They that wait on the Lord will renew their strength and mount up with wings like the eagle. They will run and not be tired, walk and not faint

God wants us to practice love toward one another. If we wrong someone, go to them and practice forgiveness and love. As the above scripture states, love has many characteristics and we want to do everything we can to be examples of God’s love.

John 13:34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

My, my, don’t give up so easily! Hang in there!! Make a promise to yourself and God that no matter what, you will smile when you can! If you practice, you will find you will do it more and more!

Rejoice? Strange and hard to do when things are failing around you, yet necessary to see results to your good. Praise—it’s in there too! You must practice praise even when you don’t feel like it to see the hand of God work things out in your life. Faith and hope are a big part of our existence.

If we see someone with a strong personality, we find they are always kicking against rules, bucking heads with others of the same personality and creating a ruckus. If they don’t submit to the other, they often end up in a large argument as tempers flair. God wants us to be strong in Him not strong and bull-headed!!

God will never fail you or let you down. The scripture states this in Hebrews 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."

Do you think God isn’t near? Has he taken a vacation? Do things around you look bleak? Well I know it is just a trial of your faith to see how strong you are! (How strong are you????)

Matthew 28:20 teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

So we see that God is ever present and always with us. Even when we think he is on vacation or we get mad at Him and make Him take a back seat for a while, He is still here!! We can always depend on Him. How strong are you?? Not strong enough? Read your Bible with breakfast and your body and soul will be nourished! Don’t eat breakfast? Try reading the Word of God for 15 minutes anyhow!

Today take a moment to praise and thank God for the beauty you see around you, the smell of the outdoors, the smile of a friend, the hug of a child and you will experience the greatest gift you ever had—the gift of love.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life.

God loves us so much He gave the ultimate sacrifice—Jesus Christ. Today, make Him Lord of your life and you will be able to show God’s love each and every day to those God has placed in your life. No matter how large or small, with God’s help, you will be able to accomplish much!

Philippians 4:13 I can do ALL things, through Christ who gives me strength!
