When that last act has been played out and the final curtain falls,
And you look back through your journey of life, what will you recall?
Will you see a steadfast warrior who lived to serve the Lord?
Who reached out to those in need and led them to His Word?
Will you see a heart so filled with love that you had that special glow?
So that everyone who crossed your path could feel the overflow?
Did you draw your strength during times of trial, from the Lord above?
And share it with all others, that they might find His love?
Our journey of life is very short and the choices that we make,
Will determine our place with our Heavenly Father, as He meets us at the gate.
