A Child of The King

“A Child of The King”

I was but a beggar in this life;
I wore tattered clothes in my
soul full of sins and strife.
I had a beggars soul longing
to be whole.

Then one day I was introduced
To a King In White Array.

He reached out to Touch me;
With a Nail Scarred Hand that
Blessed Day.

I heard Him say these words to me;
“I Forgive thee”

My eyes where opened to see The
Son of God who stood before me;
Oh how this beggar wept that day
realizing what He had done for me.

A miracle of Grace to took place
in my heart ;all the stains
of sin were removed from my
tattered cloth and washed away.

The King with the Nail Scarred Hand
then placed a Robe of Righteousness
sent from the Father's Heart
over me with the Name Jesus inscribed;
and said. “You are now a precious
Child of God made a new into royalty!"

Oh how blessed we are indeed precious Dee, to be His child. Yes, He has taken away our filthy garments of self righteousness, and clothed us in RICH ROBES of HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS and His salvation. Royal attire indeed!

I praise Him that I'm a child of His. I pray that He finds in us a childlike faith in the immovable Father.

Oh, Dee...Yes, I know what it feels like to 'wear tattered clothes on my soul' and to feel so humbly grateful that He accepts me 'just as I am'! As he gathers me to His arms to clothe me in His garments of forgiveness, I Praise Him! Thank you for words that reach our hearts! Love, Peggy
