The bible talked about making your way prosperous, in the book of Joshua chapter 1 verse 8, and that tells me something, and that is, that success is created.

Successful men don't wait for things to happen, they MAKE things happen.They don,t wait for favourable seasons, they create it for themselves by setting goals and meeting them.

One cannot really be successful, without knowing what success really is. There are many things I have discovered about success, but I would like to share just two with you which I believe if you put to practice will be a plus and will change your life.

1.SUCCESS IS THE DISCOVERY OF PURPOSE

True success is succeeding where it counts, nobody called to do EVERYTHING, but everybody is called to do SOMETHING, and it is your personal responsibility to discover your assignment, what it is God has called you to do. It does'nt matter how well you do a job, if you do the wrong job, you have failed, but an understanding of your purpose gives your life a direction, it helps you to channel your gifts to the right place. Understanding your purpose also adds value to your work, and helps you to put perspective
to your challenges.

2.SUCCESS IS THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUR POTENTIAL

Potential means ability to become some thing you have not yet become. It refers to your unutilized abilty.
Everybody has it.99.9% of success is determined by
your understanding of your potential, and the
maximization of it, because you only become what has been put within you, and nothing else.

Successful people don't copy others but develop their own potential.Nobody can conclude on your future based on your present,if you would develop your potential because you will keep disappointing them.

Having known now that Success is the discovery of
purpose and the development of potential, I would also like to share six things you must do if you must be succesful.

1.YOU MUST BELIEVE IN YOUR SELF

successful people draw confidence from what they
believe about themselves, it does'nt matter who
believes in you or not, but you must believe in yourself, because nobody is going to enter into your future but you.

2.TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR SUCCESS

Don't wait for any body to do anything for you, take steps for yourself, because nothing will take the place of personal responsibility on the journey to success.

3.LEARN AND PRACTICE GIVING

Life is not measured by how long a man lived but by the contributions he made to life.

4.YOU MUST HAVE AN ATITUDE OF SOLVING PROBLEM5.

Successful people don't run away from problems but think of solutions, and at the end of the day, they are paid.

5. IMPROVE YOUR SELF

The greatest key to success is self development, you must invest and improve yourself if you desire success. Your asset for your future is your personality and not your possesions.

6.YOU MUST CHOOSE YOUR FRIENDS BASED ON PURPOSE

You must choose your friends based on purpose. Keeping the wrong friends is burning up energy meant for your success, but rightfully choosing your relationships drives you to achieving success a lot faster than you think.
