Encouragement
Perfection in righteousness and holiness is a good desire. It is something worth desiring and pursuing after.
Yet, perfection is not of man’s will, strength or discipline. With man alone, perfection can never be more than a thought or desire. It can only be, when the garment of pride, self-righteousness and imperfection are taken off from a man.
It can only be when that which is imperfect, desiring to be perfect, turns to the only true perfect substance for perfection.
Now, what is this true substance; this true perfect substance? It is the LORD God Almighty. Mighty He is in righteousness, holiness and Perfection. Only in this true perfect God can the reality of perfection ever be in a man.
There is none perfect but the LORD. Yet in him whom dwells richly and in fullness the presence of God is perfection; even as he dwells in the LORD God Almighty.
