Softly and gently, counting intervals in seconds
Fell the tear drops of the heaven’s
As I walked the solemn silent street of death
Relentlessly seeking an end to this path
Yet loosing hope much faster than the flames of a dying fire
Then, drenched in heaven’s tears, I found myself at a crossroad
Choices! Can I not do without them?
Yet a choice I made
A price I paid
And a reward I gained
Only then did I leave this solemn silent street of death
Into a place with a light so bright
With joy, I walked this new street filled with life
Though with a passing price to pay
But now, I know my reward to gain
Yes! I know and inherit the reward of life
For my reward is Christ.
