Dawn
Beautiful dawn
I see you coming
Over the horizon
From the brink of where
The stars disappear.
It is here that I
See God’s hand in
All creation,
The flight of the lone bird
Silhouetted against the
Fading moon.
The sound of the fisher boat
emerging from the harbour.
It is a new day
A new beginning.
