As I sat and spoke with Jesus today
I remembered all the needs around me
I recalled all of the prayer requests
And the sins that might befall me.

I gave it all to Him you see
He never once did judge me
He simply took me in His embrace
Where His undying love enthroned me.

I cannot fathom such a love
A love that knows my every fault
A love that sees my every need
And yet seeks fellowship with me.

He calls me friend, daughter, child
He longs for these moments the same
A time for Him to free my heart
And wash me from my blame

Oh God you truly are Magnificent
I adore you Lord, My God, My King
For once again my life has meaning
And now renewed a song to sing.

So as I steal away for a moment
This world's cares I'll lay aside
And run into Your sweet embrace
And know again Your wonderful grace.

I look forward to tomorrow
Whether here or in Heaven above
When once again I'll sit with Jesus
And share in His glorious love.
