Ms. Likes-Peace & Ms. Likes-Sound
Ms. Likes-Peace moved in with Ms. Likes-Sound. Distressfully, Ms. Likes-Peace discovered that Ms. Likes-Sound likes all kinds of noise: blue noise, pink noise, and especially white noise. Ms. Likes-Peace was almost driven insane until she got an inspiration. So she goes out and buys Ms. Sound a lovely trickling water fountain with smooth stones explaining "It's supposed to sound like a babbling brook." Ms. Sound responds sharply while rolling her eyes "Whatever! Where do people come up with this stuff?" But Ms. Likes-Sound gives it a try and discovers a new sound that she hadn't quite noticed before and one that she came to like. That day Ms. Likes-Sound began to appreciate Ms. Likes-Peace and it was the beginning of mutual understanding for each other.
