What do we live for?

What do we strive for?

Whats our goal? Whats our ending?

Do we live just by bread alone?

Like zombies we feed on what the world gives us

Never once questioning the purpose or the results

Our minds our filled with it

Our lungs are painted black from it

Our hearts our blinded from truth

Day in and day out we are wounded....

We are torn, piece by piece the world watches fall to the ground

And they laugh.... they laugh at your weakness....at your joy

Why do we take this? Why do we always seem to come back for more?

It always seems nice in the begininng but by the end blood flows from it

Like cats and dogs we fight for power, for money...

We turn our friends in for the next quick buck

HE came perfect... to this world of emptiness

His motatives were questioned, his actions where laughed at

Why? Because never once had the world seen such a person....

In the end HE took up his cross... HE marched the hill.... HE took the nails

What do we live for?

What do we strive for?

Whats our goal? Whats our ending?

For we do not just live by bread alone......
