Faith
The Power of His Love is changing me completely. I am allowing Him to restore my soul for I will fear no evil thing. He is establishing order and peace in my life to prepare me for the blessings that He wishes to pour out upon all of His people. He is renewing my mind, replacing negative thoughts for positive, pure, and true ones. I have come to realize that what I think on constantly, takes root in my life and becomes a part of me. We are to think on what is pure, peaceable, true and of good report (Phil 4:8). Those things in my life which I have feared the most have come upon me (Job 3:25). I am learning to recognize the negative feeling that “something bad is going to happen” and walk in a deeper Trust with the Father (Prov. 15:15)
It must be first pure then peaceable, if it is of God. That’s the test for what to think upon and receive. A wise friend once told me that. There is joy in resting in Him. We are to be content whatever the circumstances in which we find ourselves. Are you a prisoner of hope? Think of that prison as a fortress for you, His refuge. Place your cares before Him and lay them at His feet.
I thank You, Father, that You restore my soul; therefore, I will fear no evil. I praise You that goodness and mercy follow me all my days and I dwell in Your Presence. I thank You that I can overcome evil with good through the Power of the Name of Jesus and His Blood (Romans 12).
