The grace of God came giving salvation,
For the men and women of every nation;
Teaching us to reject evil and earthly lust,
For living wisely and put in God our trust.

Our knowledge of God through this life,
As we look for hope in the midst of strife;
That we are having revelation of the glory,
In Jesus Christ as our Savior and His story.

Since He gave himself for us as to be free,
Of lustful temptations and sinful slavery;
A people with hearts cleansed and purified,
From that day when His Son was crucified.

He sent His Holy Spirit to set hearts afire,
For performing good works and to inspire;
Abiding in God of thought Word and deed,
And remember to spread the Gospel seed.

Of everything spoken and I have taught,
Make clear what is in God as first thought;
Under His authority let no man to despise,
God has given wisdom to make you wise.
