I need healing, Lord. Polish off those scars, Lord, until they shine for Your glory. Help me to truly forgive and find “me” again.
The “me” that you created me to be is here somewhere. She’s been hiding for such a long time, afraid of what others would think.
I need to get beyond what others think to be tuned to what You expect of me, Lord. I’ve been in bondage to other’s opinions for so long. Forgive me for being a people-pleaser and always trying to fix everything for everyone. It is just that I care so deeply. Please protect me from this personality trait being used against me in the future. I seek to be pleasing to God and solely to God.

Please, Father, heal this broken heart and fragile emotions. I truly need your insight and wisdom in my life right now. I love You, Lord, above all else. I wonder sometimes if it is easier to say, “Forgive me” or to ask for healing. The two are tied so closely together and almost one in the same.

I hear You whisper, there is healing on Your wings. I will mount up with wings and soar. I long for the day when I will not be weary. I want to run and not faint. Yes, Lord, there is freedom in You. There is blessed freedom in Your presence. There is joy, Lord, such unspeakable joy! All praise to Him who sits on the throne of my life, now and forevermore. Amen

Wow, Mitzi! Your God-inspired words have touched a core in our hearts! Tears filled my eyes as I read this because I spent so many years trying to please others and trying, just like you....from my heart of love, to fix everyone who came across my path. What a blessing you are to this website! And if I might add, thanks for putting your picture on your bio! You are a beautiful woman of God!

There's a new Christian song that just came out very recently. In fact, it's the last song I heard before I turned my radio off not five minutes ago. The lyrics move me so much. The author is telling the perspective audience to come out of hiding. It's not necessary to hide the pain or the shame. "You're not alone." And you aren't! Each one of us have our own pain, our own victories, our own praises, our own failures, our own testimonies. And we love you. He loves you. You have Him AND us. Let His love, from Himself and through His own, embrace you and keep you until those "scars" are buffed to a glorious and perfect shine. :::holy-kiss-on-your-sweet-cheek:::

Oh Mitzi Beautiful Prayer. Our Precious Lord sees all the Pain and suffering and the scars of the Past. For He brings Healing in the Brokeness and sets our feet like the Deer and gives us strength to soar like the Eagle in His Sovereign Timing"He makes all things Beautiful in His Time". He Choose to keep the print of the Nails in His Hand to remind us How precious the Healing is and what it cost Him.Continue in His Grace Sister ;for in the presence of Your scars it is a Beautiful testimony to His Grace at work in Your life as He uses you as a vessel of Healing and Encouragement.

Ah, Magnificent Bondage Breaker....my Almighty Kinsman Redeemer who bought me back from all bondage...thank You for Your mercy...Your grace...Your love. In the feebleness of my steps, Lord, You lift me up, You carry this broken 'prize' for which You paid so much, You embrace me and encompass me hope and promise and the healing touch of Your love. With joy I thank you for all I am in You, now and forever more. Amen!
