"The Man of Sorrows"
How many times in the Bible do you and I hear the word sorrow refered to our Saviour? We are all familar with the Names given to Him as Shepherd,
Great I Am ,Rock of Ages, Our Deliverer,The Ancient of Days, The Lily of the Valley and the Bright Mornig Star,The Prince of Peace and the Lord of Lords.Yet in the Bible He is also Called
the Son of man,the Man of Sorrows.Yes,the Lord of the Universe was very aquainted with Grieve and Sorrow. He felt the harsh blow of rejection and betrayel. He knew of the pain of watching a loved one die.We are told in the Bible that when Lazurus died "Jesus wept". We may not fully understand all that went on in God's Heart, but we know that He lived a life of sorrow and had Great compassion and Love for the people of the earth. The Lord of the universe choose to enter into the realm of time and leave the Place of Glory to display His Love and compassion on His creation.Yes, our God is aware of our Sorrows. When one of His precious children are hurting;in our pain, sickness, lonliness, dissapointments and loss He promises to share His Heart with us,as we go through those trials and storms that come into our lives.
Pain is a word most people do not like to hear.I know I do not like the mention of Pain and neither does our God.He created us for the Joy of knowing Him and enjoying His blessings;but we have imperfect bodies that endure pain and suffering. For some of us it is physical pain and illness and suffering for some of us it is emotional pain. What ever the affliction may be; our Lord promises to be there with us as He covers our Souls with His Presence and Love and Comfort. Why our Lord suffers the sorrow and trials in this life I truly can not fully comprehend;but I do know this that He Loves His own and that He is a Merciful Loving God that still weeps with those who weep and Pomises Shelter and Comfort and Peace under His Wings of Love.We are promised healing will come;we are just not promised when;in this life time or the Life to come. There is healing for our souls found in God's Love!

Jesus was a Man of Sorrows and acquainted with grief. He was wounded for our trangressions and bruised for our iniquities and by His wounds we are healed. Thanks for sharing your message.
"He is a Merciful Loving God that still weeps with those who weep and Promises Shelter and Comfort and Peace under His Wings of Love." Thanks for reminding us how big a price He paid.
Even as I read, I recalled a time in my life when I felt as though the very world around me had been shaken to the core. I could stand the pain no longer. The Lord took me aside to cry beneath a shade tree and a miniature donkey from the vet's office next door came up to the fence line. The Lord ministered to me in a very extraordinary way there. Of course I can't tell the whole story here. But I will just say He began with, "I was no King in a long purple robe and tall gold crown. I was lowly and came in riding on a colt, the foal of a donkey. I know you... every part of you." It was the beginning of a new dawn for me. Bless you, Sister, for sharing this most blessed bit of truth.
