May the Son shine in our hearts till our faces start to glow,
A reflection of the glory of the One who loves us so
May the Son light of His love beam out to one and all,
With the charisma of the Father as His Spirit starts to fall.

With cords of mercy and of love may hearts be drawn to Him,
Till Satan has to bow His knee, and confess Your right You win!
We know that evil is very strong of that we have no doubt,
But the love of God is greater still and pushes evil out!

May the glory of His Son shine brighter every day,
Till even the darkest of hearts will be able to see the way.
No matter what our doctrine I think we’ll all agree,
That loves the greatest power that rules eternity.

For prophecies will fail, knowledge will vanish away;
But oh the love of God is the power that will stay.
For our God is love and His love will never fail,
And His love rises in us like a life giving well.

Praise Him O you people laud Him O you land,
Let’s rise in the name of Jesus and give our God a hand!
He is the mighty God O let our praises ring,
He is risen and He’s Lord, He is the King of Kings.

1 John 4:7—Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and know God. (8) He who does not love does not know God, FOR GOD IS LOVE.

1 Corin. 13:1—Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become as a sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. (2) And though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. (3) and though I bestow all my good to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, BUT HAVE NOT LOVE , IT PROFITS ME NOTHING. (4) Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; (5) does not behave rudely, does not seek his own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; (6) does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in truth; (7) bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. (8) LOVE NEVER FAILS. But WHETHER THERE ARE PROPHECIES, THEY WILL FAIL; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there IS KNOWLEDGE, it will VANISH AWAY.

So measuring ourselves by these standards gives one great occasion to jump off of THE JUDGMENT SEAT and make a mad dash for THE MERCY SEAT.
