Wisdom from Grandpa -- "Too many couples marry for better or
worse but not for good."

If hostorlando (my e-mailer) is not able to deliver your E-Cheer for
seven consecutive days, they will automatically drop your
e-address from the list. So, especially Hotmail users, keep your
mailbox cleaned out so delivery can be made. Every day I get one
or two deletions for this reason.

Aren't you glad that God doesn't automatically kick you out of His
family if you miss church for seven consecutive Sundays ?
However, if we could spread that rumor, maybe church attendance
would pick up. Even service clubs have rules that demand a
certain percentage of attendance, but I guess that wouldn't work in
church, although it sounds like a good idea. It seems people feel
they have the right to belong to a church without any obligations.

If you don't have a desire to join other members of God's family in
church each week, there is a glitch in your faith that needs atten-
tion. Heb 10:25 (niv) admonishes: "Let us not give up meeting
together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one
another..." There is a good reason why God gave us that
instruction -- we need each other -- we need the encouragement. A
burning log removed from a campfire will soon lose its glow and
extinguish. The same can happen to you if you neglect your
fellowship with other believers.
