Dear Fellowship:

There is a story told of a young girl who worked most of her life in the cinders (cleaning the house chimney), due to the unfortunate death of her father at a young age she was left with her obnoxious step-sisters and a very evil stepmother. You know this story as Cinderella. But, little do you know, that it is my story, it is your story. Follow me awhile...

Over the course of the past few months I have been discovering my place in the Battle, in the Kingdom. To free the hearts of others. To fight for the hearts of others (and yes, my own as well). Since then, especially recently, I have been coming under attack (insecurities, spiritual struggle, personal) by the Evil Foe, a.k.a, the evil stepmother. You follow me?

Ok, journey with me up ahead a little more...

Cinderella held purity of heart inside of her. She held up all that was right and true. Her step-family were the antithesis (opposite) of all that Cinderella stood for. Your heart is good (whether you believe it or not), if it was bad, Christ would not be able to dwell in the hearts of man, or yours to add to that pile. Your heart is good, because God is working eternity into it (Ecc. 3:11). It is good because the bible says so (Ezekiel 36:25-36). It is a representation of the purity and holiness of God when in right relationship with Him. This is what the Evil Foe is against. This is what the step-family were against. They didn't know how to deal with it, except to hide it and deny it is possible and true. So, they hid her. The Evil Foe will fight against you and your heart and make sure you hide it, you reject this all as some dreamy fairytale story about a girl, and that this has nothing to do with you and the place you have in Great Father's Kingdom. If you believe this, than the struggle is over. If not, you must fight on. It is hard believe me, (I am going through this now, even in this moment), but, it is worth it. Because, when the battle is over and the blood has been shed (his blood for yours--the Savior's that is), you will come out one step closer to the perfection God has created in you before sin entered the human race of which we will eventually attain on that Great Day.

Pray for me, that I will continue on. That I will not allow this passion to subside, that I will not believe any of the lies of the Evil Foe/Evil Stepmother. Pray that you stay in and that we fight together (we can't do this alone). This is where the battle gets interesting, when we realize we are the Fellowship and we need each other. Light blinds the darkness. Believe that, and the tides will turn.
