I run to the Garden to find You. My strength is almost gone from this dry, weary place. Oh, how I need time with You. Your presence is refreshing and energizes me with Power from on high. I’ve come to the Path of Faith that you preordained from the foundation of time. I search for You, the one who abides outside of time. Sometimes these hedges seem so high and hindering with their thorns. Still, I press in to draw near unto You.

Just when all of my strength is gone, I collapse into Your arms. Hold me Jesus, I am hurting so deeply. Please, take these pieces of my heart and bind them up in Your love. I hear You gently whisper, “It’s not by might, nor by power, but by MY SPIRIT.” I gaze into Your eyes of compassion as Your hand brushes my cheek to wipe the tears that trickle down my face. Your voice of authority echoes, “Peace, be still. I speak grace to this mountain and watch it level. You will cross it with ease and it will be for MY glory. Keep your eyes on me, child. I know that it is hard if you look back. Don’t! Keep your eyes upon Me. I will bless you and keep you. My face does shine on you with exceeding gladness. I dance about around you with joy. Trust, little one. Trust.”

I receive the peace like a soft, warm blanket just out of the dryer. I smell the sweet aroma. His spirit encompasses me with His Love. I will sing of Your love forever and ever. I will proclaim it as long as I have breath. I receive your grace filled miracle. I take hold of it and hold on with all of my might. It is mine; You gave it to me. I will not let the enemy steal the treasure that You have imparted. The Light in the darkness, the strength, the peace, the faith and the grace are all mine and I hold them closely to my heart near the place where You dwell. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.
