On that last day and hour it is unknown,
Not angels or the Son has He yet shown;
As with the days of Noah and the flood,
Then the Son of man had shed His blood.

For as with Noah the waters overflowed,
While they were feasting in their abode;
Partying till the day Noah entered the ark,
And waters flowed like a thief in the dark.

Then drowned unknowing what occurred,
Never heeding the warning of the Word;
So will be the coming of the Son of man,
As God already has written in His plan.

Then two men into the field as one let go,
And two women crushing grain for dough;
Just be watching when the Lord will come,
It is not revealed since the Father is mum.

If a homeowner knew of the thief at night,
Then be able to keep watch that he might;
Likewise for the Son of man for to arrive,
So be ready if having a desire to survive.
