Remove from me all of my fear.
Give me insight
To do what is right.
Help me know You are near.

Wipe away all of my tears.
Remind me again
Of Peace deep within.
Help me know You are near.

Forgetting the wasted years.
Infuse me with strength,
From Your well I drink,
Help me know You are near.

Help me know You are near,
This boat, I just cannot steer.
I give You the reigns,
I trust through the pain.
Help me know You are near.

Beautiful Anointed poem Mitzi. Help me Know that You are near. Oh how that is the Hearts cry of every Child of God. And you so Beautifuly have shared it from your heart.

I can very much relate to these words of longing. Sometimes it feels that all we are doing is clinging to the hem of His garment (just barely). But, while we may not always 'feel' His hand, it is ever-sure. Nearer my God to Thee, nearer to Thee. Thanks, Mitzi, for putting into words what is often left anxiously unspoken. Embrace my sister, Father. Embrace her in peace and let her acknowledge how truly indescribable and wonderful Your love can be... and is. Be that ever-present Friend and omnipotent Father, filling all her needs through the abundance of Your own treasures. Your eyes must surely be on her, Your faithful servant. And Your ears must surely be inclined to her. Touch her, Father, with Your merciful hands, reaching into the depths of her heart with far, far extended grace. Blessed is the Name of Jesus. Amen.

How beautifully you've capture the cry of every heart...the cry that breathed the prayer, "LORD, I believe! Help my unbelief!" And His mighty hand reaches out, stills the raging waters, restores the years the locust ate, and enfolds you in His embrace. Glory be to His name, forever!
