A Higher Place

I just don’t know
What to do.
My Lord, I turn
My eyes to you.

Searching, trusting
Everyday.
I count on you
To lead the way.

Lead me, guide me
Hold me still.
May I remain close
In Your will.

Find me in
A higher place,
Lost deep within
Love’s warm embrace.

Help me receive
From Your hand
As on Your Holy
Rock I stand.

I trust it all
In Your keep.
I lay it gently,
At Your feet.

On my knees
I choose to fall,
Before Your throne
Of grace, in awe.

How do others live without the leading of the Lord? You have expressed well the hearts of those of us who completely trust in Him to lead us and help us folow Him wherever He must lead.Very lovely!

Beautiful Inspirational Poem Mitzi.
How true no greater place to be at the Throne of Grace to receive His Grace and Mercy. He Surely is our Refuge our Shelter and "Petra" the Rock on Which we Stand! In Christ ,Dee.

I so appreciate this line. To be 'held still' by His grace, while His mercy pours His way into my soul. That is what I long for.

Friend, What a lovely poem of trust. Its cadence was atuned to my own desires, yet I still struggle. I trust it all In Your keep. I lay it gently, At Your feet.... only I, often, pick it right back up, again. Thank you for whispering that it doesn't and shouldn't be that way. What a beautiful, beautiful place for healing and restoration to take place... in His will. Sister, we all need to be exactly where you must have been to write such an inspiring work of art... and we need to stay there, thick or thin. It's the only true way to live... I mean really live.
