Did You Know?*
God Made 24 Hour Days

Did you know why creation days are 24-hours long? Because God made them so. It's true.

Many Christians and non-Christians contend that the Creation days were very long periods of time thousands, 10's of thousands, maybe even millions of years long. These are the ideas of people who mistakingly accept evolution.

Moses in the Book of Exodus says:
9 Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, ... Ex 20:9-10 (KJV)

In the scripture above, Moses is telling the people to work six days and then rest on the seventh. Why is he telling them this? Because...
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Ex 20:11 (KJV)

In other words, God set the pattern His people were supposed to follow. Work six and rest on seven. How would that work if the days were 1 million years long?
