DID YOU KNOW?*
God's Light Then Sun

Did you know that there was light before God created the sun? It's true.

Genesis 1:3, 5 says that on creation day one God created the light (GK=ore; Strong's 216). He separated the day from the night too. Not until day four (Genesis 1:14-19) did the Almighty place the sun and the moon and the stars in the heavens.
Why did He do it this way? A lot of people have suggested a lot of ideas about why. But, the Word of God is light. God speaks and there is light. Listen to what God said...

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12 (KJV)

He, the Creator of the universe, can do what He chooses to do, the way He chooses to do it when it pleases Him to do so. AMEN.
