Think of all that Christ has done to you,
Resulting in changes completely through;
Giving Him names as Teacher and Lord,
In making you a soldier without a sword.

He has been there and washing your feet,
At the head table He reserved your seat;
You are right about everything that is He,
But just like Him are you prepared to be?

For it is because of Him our feet are pure,
So wash another as they come to the door;
Christ sets as example as it should be done,
So we may see how to be second to none.

As a servant is never greater than his boss,
And obeys even as for suffering on a cross;
If it's clear to you then fill with delight,
That the master has made day out of night.

He speaks not to all rather only His elite,
Ensuring Scripture prophecy was complete;
And I tell you that you really must believe,
To be a servant of God in order to receive.
