Decisions were made, it’s all in your hand

But now I’m convinced only the song will I know

A band so pretty made of diamonds and gold
A symbol of marriage that makes us a whole
“Relax and trust me,” you said all along
And now you tell me you think you were wrong

Your bills and debts you say it’s the reason why
How can you stay if you cannot provide?
Well, when I accepted to be your wife
That meant I was willing to go through strife

I knew of your baggage and you of mine
My illness, my children and painful life
You’ve turned your back and walked away
I can only pray you would return one day

Remember the good times and laughter we shared
And I will hold on to the days when you cared
Treasure the moments of both our losses
How we held each other and dried our tears

Now, it all has come to an end
