Rise as the sun rises sure in the sky
Rise as the sparrow that never asks why
Rise and receive peace you can’t understand
Rise as a thankful, true worshipful hand
Rise as prayers whispered to heaven above
Rise to the rafters as praise filled with love
Rise from transgression; rise clean from your sin
Rise as the lame man God made walk again
Rise from fear’s taunting; rise free from your doubt
Rise up like Lazarus when Christ said, “Come out!”
Rise and fall on Him; His burden is light
Rise soon to meet Him in heavenly flight
