You walked the aisle as a little child,
you invited Me into your heart.
Looking back, it's been awhile,
and you and I have been apart.

Cares of this world got in the way.
The pleasures of this life beckoned you.
No time for Me, no time to pray.
Caring not what I wanted you to do.

You chose to live your life apart from Me,
though My blessings were always there.
Gliding through life on senuous seas.
For things of God, you did not care.

Prodical child, I will come as a thief.
You are in darkness about My soon return.
Study My Word, share your belief.
It's past time, My ways to learn.

Prodical child, you've been gone too long.
Return now to your Father's side.
He is ready to forgive your every wrong.
He has His arms of love open wide.
