This I truly believe, that when God created us , He made us with an innate and absolute need of Him and He gave us each a small vision of Heaven.

Because we became sinners our need for Him was covered by our own selfishness and we chose our vision of this world over our vision of Heaven.

When we finally start seeing that this world has too many flaws to live with and that there must be a much better way, we start to look for what is missing in our lives. With the help of God’s children we will start looking for God and this is the moment that He is waiting for. This is His opportunity to show us His Glory. He will show us His Glory through His Son, Jesus Christ and through the testimony of His saints (and this is why it is so important for believers to spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and to be His light in this world) . Then when we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and begin to confront the evil one, then God heals the blindness that we have because of our sinful nature.

God is Spirit and for Him to experience His Glorious creation, He would need to live in it and through it. But just as it is no fun to have wonderful things when you have no one to share them with, He needed to create beings that He could share His creation with. These beings would need to be separate from Him (have a free will of their own) yet connected to Him (by His Holy Spirit) for eternity. He needed beings that would be free from disobedience (sin) for eternity, so that His Orderly World would not ever be tainted and remain in Peaceful Harmony. So He created a period of time and a world, in which we would learn of our own free will, all the consequences of disobedience (sin) and so that with our own free will, we would be willing to accept His total rule for all of eternity. God would not create a world just so that we could come in and sin in it. I believe that God wanted a world that He could live in through His creation, but His creation must be convinced that sin (disobedience to God) is no longer an option.

My vision is a product of many ideas that have come through my life experiences and wrestling with God. God always takes me to His Word to compare ideas, to see if they harmonize. God created me with a mind that needs His Truth and a heart that needs His Love. He also created me with a mind for invention and science, a heart for romance, peace and harmony and a soul ready to do battle with any spirit that will try to take away or change these gifts from God. The evil one came in and tried to give me the desire to use these gifts for selfish reasons, thereby fulfilling his own desires. So with the help of our Lord, I am leaving my desires for this world behind and am beginning to focus my life on God and on His Heaven.

The hardest part of letting go of this world, is thinking that we may miss out on something. This is where our Faith must be strong. It comes down to having the Faith that God exists, and that nothing is impossible with God. We may say that we believe in God, but the evil one will continually nag us with “How can you be 100 % sure?” That is where our study of history and archeology is so important. I am not talking about the history and archeology that the secular world teaches, but the history that Christians have researched and found much more accurate documentation and physical evidence on. There have been many atheists that have tried to prove that the Bible is false and they have come up with too many facts to prove that the Bible is the Truth. They end up being converted, but their evidence is rarely, if at all, included in secular textbooks. God has warned us about teachers that hide the truth or teach false doctrines that lead us away from God, but we continually ignore this warning. Because we have ignored this warning, we have not learned the Truths that will make our Faith strong.


This is my vision of Heaven...............................

I have walked through Heaven’s gates and the first place I go is to Him. He is the One who rescued me and made all of this possible. I need to see Him face to face and He knows this even before I arrive. I need to fall at His feet in awe of Him and then wash His feet with my tears and thank Him for being my Lord and Savior. Then He will take my hand and I will go and sing and dance with the angels and the saints. When we have finished our time of joyfulness and celebration, we will all sit down at the feast, that He has prepared for us. He will raise His hand to quiet our many questions that we have saved for Him. He then speaks out, “We have an eternity to do all things. Because I am in each of your hearts and there no longer is an evil one to interrupt, I can now talk to you freely and You will hear My Voice clearly. Let us now begin the feast and our new life together!”

This is when the adventure that we were created for truly begins. This is when the new Heaven and the new earth will be established. Heaven will be a place where all things will be possible, because pride will be gone and all good will remain good and for the good of all.

Because God has no limits, so must His world. It would be hard for us to understand a world where there is no end, not only in time but also in space, but then it is hard to truly understand all of God. So here is where I let my creative imagination soar and I continually wrestle with God.
Before I continue, you must never forget that even though we are given truths, we still remain in a world that we do not know all truths and the evil one is continually nagging us with his lies. God will reveal all Truths when He knows the time is right. I must leave that timing up to God and you can question Him and wrestle with Him on your own. Then you can tell me your vision of Heaven and we can compare notes.

I questioned God about a world where there will be no pain and suffering and all I could imagine was a world where there would be no death, because we will finally be allowed to eat from the Tree of Life and death and hades will be in the fiery pit. I am assuming that eternal life will include animals. In the beginning before we left the Garden of Eden, animals were not food and I imagine that it will be that way again. (For those of you that love your meat, I can tell you that there is no food that cannot be replaced with vegetables in looks, texture or in flavor. Our world has not gotten there yet, but I know from culinary experiences that we are getting close). God could erase all memories of eating meat and sin, but then that would void His whole purpose of allowing us to sin in the first place. We would return to the state of mind that Adam and Eve were before they sinned

I will end here for today, but there is more to come........................................I will begin the next one with why it is important for our relationship to God and each other, to keep our memories of a sinful life and the reasons it is important and good to be Heavenly minded and not earthly minded.
