I went to see the doc today, he told me about my disease,
He told me to eat this, but not that, and I would be at ease.
I didn't seem to understand, what it was the doc was saying,
For he was eating, what he said, would keep my teeth decaying.

Talk, talk, talk, thats all I hear today
People always wanting you, to hear what they have to say,
I wish more people would take the time to put their words to action,
And maybe then we could all, get a little satisfaction.


I went to see my mom, who always had good advice,
She of course would always remind me to be charitable and nice.
I knew that she would be the one, to loan me some extra money,
But with a sorry face, she said, it's bingo night...hunny.

Talk, talk talk, that's all I hear today
People always wanting you, to hear what they have to say,
I wish more people would take the time to put their words to action,
And maybe then we could all, get a little satisfaction.

I went to see my good ol friend, for when I had some needs,
He promised me that he would help, for he liked to do good deeds.
So when I asked to borrow his car, I was shocked with his reply,
I'm sorry friend, he said with a smerk, but sometimes I lie.

Now Sunday morning did arrive, and church would be today,
I just could not wait to hear, what the preacher would have to say.
He preached to us that we should always help one another,
Then after the service he refused to help me with my mother.

Talk, Talk, Talk, that's all I hear today
