The Journey isn’t long





I give praise to Jesus,
my savior and my lord,
He strengthens my spirit,
through him, I am restored.
His love is everlasting;
he forgives us, all our sins,
When he knocks; open your door,
so he... can come in.
He’ll guide you to his father,
in heaven, and in your heart,
The journey isn’t long my friend,
once you, decide, to start.
Jesus gave his life for us,
so very long ago,
You can read about his life,
in the Bible, I’m sure you know.
When I look up to the sky,
where Heaven is said to be,
I may not see the pearly gates,
but I know his loving arms; are waiting for me.
So, put your hands together,
and, bow your head in prayer,
Accept Jesus as your savior and lord,
and you too, will be welcome there.
