Be firm but be kind to your children
You have to teach them to want to obey
Encourage them to follow your guidance
You have to show them the Christian way.

Always show your love for your children
Let them know how much that you care
They’ll come to you when there is trouble
If they trust that you’ll always be there.

Never forget that they’re only children
Let them have their fun as a child
They have plenty of time to grow up
And growing up may take a little while.

Never forget to praise your children
There’s something positive in everything they do
Don’t over react over their small mistakes
You should teach them to look up to you.

You have to make time for your children
Nothing is more precious than your time
Nothing is more important than your children
They should always be the first ones in line.

Never be too angry with your children
You have to teach them to want do right
Show them how to read their Bible
And they will follow the Spiritual Light.

Remember God loves all of his children
So know that he loves you too
Give that same love to your children
Because they want the same love from you.
