Do you look in the mirror each day
And wonder why you look like you do
Do you stop and think about the people you meet
Or do you hope that they won’t really talk to you
Do you get personal when you do
Do you share your joy and pain
Or are you afraid they will gossip about you
As I have told you, “Bear each others burdens and pray.”
So the hope of Me will shine through you
Do you lift each other up
And curse them behind their backs
Do you show the world
what it is to live your life for Me
Is there evidence of Me in you?

When you tell them I’ll pray for you, do you
When I speak do you listen
Or is there some part of you that blocks
What I have for you
When you pray do you really give it to Me
As I have told you,
“Come to Me, you who are weary and heavy burdened
and I will give you rest,
For My yoke is light and easy.”
What is it that you have held onto for so long
Did you ask yourself, are you ready to let it go
Because I know what stop Me from helping you
Is there evidence of Me in you?

“Be aware, I will send angels to take company with you.”
Do you have a smile on your face
When adversity comes
Do you sing out loud and praise My name
Do you give back what I have given you
So I can make your storehouse
Overflowing for you
Is there evidence of Me in you?
