A kind word will do, maybe a dollar or two
who's counting, if their love is rated

If you put it on a scale to be weighed
it just might be off a little bit
So why bother at all, just have a ball
this moment was due, you just had to admit

Valentine's Day is celebrated by hearts
who give of themselves, without price
Not saying it won't hurt, to receive some more
but still, it's good to do something nice

To let someone know how much you care
spring it on them" give their backs, a pat
For in knowing that, the great God above,
will reward you, for doing just that
