Hold on dear ones, with all your heart
and to allow, the Lord intervene
For we can't bear, the cross alone
that's why, our souls he did redeem

He tells our hearts to just be still;
and let him take full control
He knows what to do, for he's wise and true
so our souls he wants to console

He searches inward, to repair and mend
also to restore and make brand new
His presence can be felt in the darkest hour
that's how much he loves me and you

We dare not question, though it's human to do,
for some things, are beyond our thoughts
No we cannot predict, each day that comes
but know, our souls he had bought

There comes, for a time of healing,
when we allow his presence, to enter in;
so even though, the love one has gone
we can have his peace within

The Lord's presence is there to keep us,
while in the moments of despair
We can count on him to be that friend
because, he truly does care

For this is his promise to whom ever will
lay their burdens on him today
so that he would take, each one of them
and wipe those sorrows away
