Praise to the Lord of Heaven and earth,
Since He knows what I am truly worth;
He has kept things a secret from the wise,
Making it clear to children in their eyes;
And so it was pleasing unto the Father,
Ensuring unto me all things come thither;
As no one having knowledge of the Son,
For through Him our salvation been won;
And to whom the Son will make it clear,
As the path to the Father to those sincere;
So go to Him of all who are heavy-laden,
He shall give you rest from your burden;
Take His yoke for putting it on to learn,
Being as Christ gentle and not stubborn;
You will have rest for your weary soul,
As Christ will hold the weight to console.
While the non-believers secrets conceal,
But believers of Christ who will reveal,
Of the reasons why He was sacrificed,
And pick up and wear the yoke of Christ.
