I dip my pen in another tear
And write of how I love you

A gift from God, a reflection of Heaven
I am complete with you at my side
With effortless grace
You dance like a Rose petal
Floating with liquid prose
On summers whispered breezes

Time is a gentleman
Who tips his hat
Looking away as you pass

I am blessed by your friendship
Which is greater than gold
In your heart are treasures untold

Your beauty is birthed from deep in your soul
Softening bleak realities
And giving substance to hopes and dreams

You embrace every moment applauding the smiles
And agonizing over the tears

You're as soft as springs breath
Yet girded with a delicate steel
Though I drink deep of your love eternal

I love you and thirst for you still
