No longer stranded, out on an Island
for God came and did rescue me
He had loosed the ropes, that had me bound
and did set my little heart free

No more guilt trips will I have to take
no more strings to tie me up
And those many loads I had to carry
I drink no more of that cup

God took everything with just one touch
he did clean my heart within
And every heavy burden he rolled away
and those things came to an end

You may ask! Why did love come my way
and why did it come aboard
Well I found the answer while on my Island
that evil I don't have to hoard

God's love it became, like medicine
that will heal the hurts inside
It will mend you up and banish every fear
O' this love it can abide

It bloom flowers where, it's dry and barren
it can grow through and through
It is even there in the deepest waters
O' it will always be there for you

This love it doesn't think about itself
but strives to florish even more
A little bit here, and a little bit there
and it will not shut it's door

O' what an antidote this thing called love
as it searches all around
It dwells not on evil, but, good things
and picks you up when your down

So I want to thank God, for taking the call
and didn't hang up on me
But, came on by and did share this love
in how strong that it can be
