When the snow comes down,
And it’s cold outside,
I gather up my things and go for a ride.
I head for the hills
To find the right slide
And when I do,
Its Zip, Zoom, Bye, Bye!
I get to the bottom
And look up the hill.
“Oh, what a sight! And it’s all such a thrill!”
Up and down
Each time getting faster,
When all of a sudden
It turned into a disaster!
Flying in the air
While twisting and turning,
I thought I’d hit my head,
But instead I hurt my bottom.
“Ouch! Ouch!
I laid there and laughed.
I couldn’t believe it,
What a big CRASH!
I headed on home
And when I walked in,
A fire was burning,
So laid on the floor,
With a big grin
Mom made us some cocoa
And we sat around talking
Of the fun day I had
On my big day of Sledding!
