If God's love, don't follow me
my soul will be in trouble
Because of things, that life does bring
and at times, they do double

If it had not been, for God's mercy
and his love, standing by me
I couldn't do the things that I do
oh I thank him, for victory

O' soul of mine I won't trouble myself
for it's grace that does defend thee
And mercy is being showered, upon your head
saying, it was me who set you free

My heart said; kick on in, O' grace and mercy
show the love that God gave you
Let it pour and pour, but, I do ask more
to help my soul go through

O' keep moving upon this heart of mine
and let patience do it's job
For it was thee, O' grace and mercy
that did quiet, my little sob

Now let heaven rejoice of your saving grace
give the Lord what is due to him
Shout out his name, all over the plains
for he does brighten what is dim

O' count it all joy, O' souls of his
for giving to us his peace
Let every heart say, that he is good
for causing each war to cease

You told grace to go by and touch us;
also told mercy to open our eyes
And did allow the sun to shine on our frames
up above from your shies

Know this: no one can knock it, or block it
they cannot clock your time
We're under the umbrella, of grace and mercy
our Savior which is the vine
