A distant rumbling
Approaching through the ages
Since the beginning of time
Spoken by the sages
To the unlistening ear
no sounds are discerned
To the one turned towards heaven
A whispered rumble is heard

The stammering of stallions
With legs made of fire
Straining at the threshold
For the trumpet to come alive
An army of mighty steeds
Have caught the scent of war
Headlong into battle
Their destiny and purpose is born

To carry the virtuous
The righteous and pure
To conquer the darkness
A victory that's sure

A sound heard from heaven
The Bride adorned for the One
The thunder of hooves approaching
Singing, "Behold! Your King! He Comes!
