Drifting aimlessly
Floating on dreamy inspiration
A canvas sky paints brilliant sunsets to amuse me
Reaching for tomorrow I bury today
Unbroken horizons stretch forever
A noonday sun bakes my tongue and warms my bones As the sea engulfs me
I am nothing here
Only the hypnotic beauty of watery glass
That rhythmically laps the edges of my solitude
Ocean & sky become one
And I remember
I am lost At sea
Rescue me
