Written 2-1-05

The Conscience of the Majesty,
The Master of Holy Writ;
The Strength to hold my wandering heart,
To belay me from my fit.

This Other, most like Christ,
Dwelling in hearts so right;
Matchmaker of the loving Lord,
To take us to His height.

He hovered over new-born waters,
Swooning over His creation;
With same power, He released
From the tomb, our own Salvation.

Now this power so resides,
In the cavity of my domain;
By His wisdom, and His strength,
In Christ I will remain.

These words, born of Divine lightning,
Unleashed by the Spirit’s sword;
Make Him your Master, and be right,
And Christ your loving Lord!
