When the storm came, there was also warnings
being mentioned here and there
And as I watch the snow fall from above
I thought, was not my God aware

Then I felt a calmness sweep over me
began to smile and think on this
Was our God not in, the storm with us
was it something that we did miss

Then inspiration did more enlighten me
with thoughts so simple and true
Why should I worry and lose my peace
storms of life is nothing new

God's power it will, never go out
nor does it ever shut down
And it is much alive, both day and night
it will always be around

Buildings may close, and roads close dowm
and the electric will go off and out
But if you can believe, God's in the midst
and knows why it came about

God is God, regardles of the storm
he's not somewhere taking a nap
He is wide awake and know where we are
and he doesn't go by any map

He can speak in the worse's situations
his presence is oh so real
So I said, go on Holy Ghost, talk to me
show me, the storm is no big deal

Now although man did predict the storm
but who can keep us still
Well just take a guess and we will know
who or what can obey his will
