I have no wings of any size
Or shape, to make them 'work,'
There's no appendage lifting me,
No talent or some quirk;
But there are times, in buoyant peaks,
It seems I hardly try
To break the bond of gravity....
Yet, in such times....I FLY!
In looking down, I see my feet
Are firmly on the ground;
But in my 'spirit'...I'm 'up there'
Just looking all around
To see if others notice that I'm
Cruising through the sky....
Or even if they care at all
That I have learned to FLY!
