This is now, a new day,
that the Lord, he has made
So I won't go back, I'm on a new track
and the fare it has been paid

Those old sayings, I will say no more
I will leave them in the past
For God has promised, a bountiful blessing
and once spoken, they will last

There are shows no longer, will I watch
seen them all many times before
And I thank God, for changing the channel
and giving my heart much more

No recordings, will this heart- replay
those tunes are dead and gone
For it's all over, this is a new day
and yesterday's, I say so long

The arm of the Lord, it has reached out;
and his favor, it now rest, on me
Oh the brightness of his glorious shine
has made my heart to see

Rivers shall flow, with milk and honey
trees shall yield, their fruits in time
And the desert dry places, now, shall bloom
and whatever else, we can say it's mine

For the humble heart that seeks his pleasure
they will surly go out in peace
And wherever they go, grace will follow
for his power, he did release
