Reach Out & Touch

There are gentle souls
Obedient servants of God
Sainted lives touched by the love of Christ
They reach out to suppor t those falling
Just like they themselves were held up
And are sustained by the power of love
That they receive from their Messianic Saviour-

These are the souls who walk among the dying
Praying life through their hands
Opening the eyes of the spiritually blind
Bringing back joy on the little things of life
These are the gentle souls persuaded to go where others flee
With their love their only shield
Against the weapons of tyranny-

They promise not the world
For a people who have lost their world
They simply come in the light of love
To share a little of their life
Giving more than they will ever know they did
They are are not participants, treating foe and friend alike
With equal love-

Love is to give that which is of you
To part away with a piece of your kindest emotions
Taking away others pain and sorrow
Holding the hands on transition between worlds,
Creating a place of warmth in the heart , touching in places long gone cold
So that all that humans have taken, another human re-assures
That love is still possible-
