The dove that found no rest for the sole of her foot returned unto Noah, and Noah stretched forth his hand, took her, and pulled her in unto himself into the Ark.
On the contrary, the one who found rest for her feet never returned to the Ark.
"Ìtùrá ti dé." (Rest has come, enjoyment has come.)
Many times, when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we forget that the Lord is our Shepherd.
The disciples, however, knew who to run to when the wind became boisterous on the sea. And He who was in a state of rest—sleeping in the boat—arose and rebuked the wind for their sake.
I pray for you: the Lord will rebuke the storm for your sake and bring you into rest.
However, there are moments when there is no rest for your feet; sickness, debt, setback, and failures.
Perhaps such moments are an invitation to return to the Father to enjoy a season of deep communion with Him in the Ark.
But above all, whether on the mountain or in the valley, find rest.
