YOU, THE INTERCESSOR AND YOUR CONGREGATION.
A spiritual leader's primary duty is the care, spiritual maturity, and oversight of their local or immediate flock. As leaders, a shepherd's or minister's preaching, listening, and physical presence are considered direct acts of love, commitment and faithfulness. A minister is expected to carry their specific congregation in prayer based on God's promises for them on a daily basis and remain closely, deeply accessible to them particularly through spiritual bonding.

You need to employ or raise a full time intercessory minister to work CLOSELY with you. If your ministry is not large or financially well off enough to pay an intercessor for full time ministry with you, then raise an intercessor from your prayer group and engage him or her to work closely with you and God will use both of you greatly to do amazing things in your ministry, just like the Holy Spirit, the intercessor and Jesus Christ the Word of God teamed up and the Father's dream, amazing miracles, signs and wonders was the result.

Even though Jesus Christ had a remarkable relationship with the Father, and the Holy Spirit, He still had Peter, James and John as PERSONAL intercessors. You can't afford not to have a full time intercessory minister, both of you working full time FOR MAXIMUM PRODUCTIVITY in the name of Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 62:6,7.
O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray day and night, continually. Take no rest, all you who pray to the Lord. Give the Lord no rest until he completes his work, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth.

YOUR FOREMOST TASK
Responsibility commits, it inspires us to aspire, it matures and provokes confidence. Do you have the phone numbers and addresses of everyone who has attended your Church? You should. You and your intercessory minister and intercessors should intercede for them by name and needs on a daily basis. That's a PRIMARY or MAJOR ministry DAILY OBLIGATION. As a Pastor, minister or shepherd, the spiritual and all-round welfare of your congregation on a daily basis, is your FOREMOST TASK.

Communicate with them during the week to strengthen your spiritual bond and relationship, ensuring your messages are brief, with salt-seasoned, gracious words. If your congregation is sizable, delegate the task of sharing daily messages to your secretary, but the messages should be generated by you or your intercessory minister or ministry.

DELEGATE
Ask the Lord to show you a role and responsibility for each member of your congregation in the Church particularly every Sunday no matter how simple the task. Let them understand that their preparation in prayer and the Word will attract God's presence and approval to bless people and bless their obedience. This will encourage everyone to come prepared and fired up to minister in one capacity or another. For example as greeters, for Bible reading, Ushering, children teachers, choristers etc. These are your leaders in training. Have a monthly meeting session to teach, inspire and challenge these precious partners of yours during this LEADERSHIP SESSIONS. From the scriptures, show them the importance of their role to the building of the local Church and the universal Church, the body of Church. Have an annual ceremony to acknowledge and appreciate their service, letting them know that nothing can be compared to their eternal reward for their faithful services by the Lord Jesus Christ.

With some task and responsibility in the local Church for everyone, like you have, everyone will be looking forward to their participation and not just as spectators. No one will miss any service, just like you would not want to miss any service because of your role.

With Target Evangelism well taught and enforced, everyone will be reproducing and bringing others to Church with the CONFIDENT assurance that those they invite will be warmly welcomed, loved and nurtured. And they will be blessed and never be disappointed. In this process, they are being involved in ministry, and the Holy Spirit, in conjunction with your ministry will keep strengthening, maturing and teaching them, mostly through their experience because of their faithful PARTICIPATION.

2 Timothy 2:2.
And the instructions which you have heard from me along with many witnesses, transmit and entrust as a deposit to reliable and faithful men who will be competent and qualified to teach others also.

Hallelujah!
