I sought the Lord who answered me,
To rescue me from all my fears,
He welcomed me to taste and see,
Dispelling all rumors, one hears.

Those who see Him are radiant,
Their faces shall not be ashamed;
Since they’re being obedient,
As His glory shall be proclaimed.

The poor man cried and the Lord heard,
Rescued him out of his trouble;
Because He had faith in the Word,
God pulled him out of the rubble.

The angel of the Lord encamps,
Around those who have revered Him;
He delivers them from the vamps,
Grasp of their seductive forelimb.

Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Bless the man who seeks asylum;
He puts his trust in as he should,
The comfort and solace in Him.

O fear the Lord, all of you saints,
Those who fear Him will have no lack,
Your enemies will have restraints,
And the Lord is watching your back.

The lions lack and are starving,
Those who seek the Lord lack nothing;
Since the Lord’s loving and caring,
He caters to all those that cling.
