When goodness and loving kindness,
Of God our Savior appeared;
He saved us not out of blindness,
But mercy of those who revered.

Not in righteousness rather grace,
But according to His mercy;
Renewed by Spirit to embrace,
Regeneration by decree.

He poured out on us richly,
Through Jesus Christ our Savior;
Shedding on us abundantly,
Shining upon us His favor.

To be justified by His grace,
So that we may become as heirs;
And eternal life in His place,
In the hope that everyone shares.
